    Michelle brings a varied and professional background to the mediation process. Completing her BA in Psychology Cum Laude at Ashford University in San Diego, CA 2010 she has owned & managed her own business(s) most of her life. Michelle moved to Florida from Los Angeles, CA in 2013 and became a Florida Certified Civil Court Mediator in 2016. Michelle takes a caring and understanding approach to the mediation process and has quickly become one of the most requested mediators in the Flagler County Court. She has been Family Mediator Trained and has the ability to help resolve any type of issue that may arise. Having been through a divorce herself with small children at the time, she has a complete understanding of the emotional toll that divorce takes on the lives of the as well as the parents. The "been there, got the T-shirt" feeling helps her to understand the difficulties that make family separation & divorce one of the hardest, most stressful processes you can go through. Michelle will assist you and your soon-to-be-ex-spouse work through the every issue so you have the "best" deal you can get, because you had a say in the entire process. Michelle is not an attorney, and she will not attempt to give legal advice. Mediation is the process of the parties and all decisions arrived at must be agreed upon by both parties involved. Mediators assist to resolve issues and do not "decide" how property should be divided, or spousal support should be paid. A mediator can advise what is customary to Florida but all items are decided upon by the parties participating.

    Stephen Woodin started his career in 1989 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Spending more than a decade of that time training professionals in continuing education and safety on his "off" days, Steve is 100% business focused and has consistently maintained his business in good and bad times since 1999 when he retired from the fire service. In 2006 Steve was presented with the opportunity to be sponsored by Hillsborough County Court (Tampa) to become a mediator. Being a natural "salesman" and negotiator, having had the opportunity to perform more than 1200 mediation sessions in multiple court systems throughout Florida as well as in private practice. Steve holds a degree in Digital Media Management from St. Petersburg State College and an AS degree in EMS from Daytona State College. He has written over 100 training courses and published more than 30 books in his career. "Mediation is a calling". A process where he can have a direct effect on the happiness of the parties involved. Helping them to find a resolution in a situation that may feel like there are no ends, or easy solutions. Steve is an "out of the box" thinker and uses his vast knowledge of business and his own divorce to assist parties come to resolution.
